Policy on bookings associated with COVID-19

We understand the corona-virus outbreak brings uncertainty to travellers and property investors, and we remain ready to help wherever we can: “removing stress and building trust”. We are sorry that you may need to move your booking due to the evolving COVID-19 situation and understand how frustrating it is when something like this happens. So we will do everything we can to help make things easier and get our booking moved as soon as possible.

Effective immediately is our COVID policy.

Guests who reside in NSW and cancelling for any reason other than COVID or travel restriction related our standard Cancellation Policy applies.

Bookings will be eligible for a credit in the form of a date change, free of charge (no cancellation/refund available) under the following criteria:

  1. Guests living outside NSW and can no longer travel outside of their own state.
  2. Guests living in NSW but are affected by COVID, either themselves or guests who intended to stay. (Have COVID or are a close contact and require quarantine/isolation)
  3. Guest living inside a Hotspot.
  4. State Lockdown.

Any increase in tariff for any new dates will need to be paid where applicable.

With the current restrictions within NSW regarding travel and no specific date advised, the above Policy will only apply to those bookings scheduled to arrive within 30 days.

As a requirement from the Government, we will also be requiring proof of double dose vaccinations for all guests aged 16years and over.

We strive to ensure every one of our valued guests and travellers visiting our region have a safe and enjoyable stay. Please know that we are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation around the clock and have precautions in place to ensure a healthy stay at any of our properties.

In this climate, we know travel may not be your first thought, but we want you to know the safety of our guests and associates is our top priority. We want to thank you in advance for putting your trust in Central Coast Holidays as you plan for future travels.

The safety of our employees, supplier partners, customers, families and visitors remain Raine & Horne’s overriding priority. As the corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak continues to evolve and spreads globally, Di Jones are monitoring the situation closely and will periodically update company guidance based on current recommendations from the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organisation. Only business critical visitors are permitted at this time.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the potential risk of exposure to our agents and visitors, we are conducting a simple screening questionnaire. All guests participation is important to help us take precautionary measures to protect you and everyone in this community.

This questionnaire will be included in our on-line check in form where guests will be asked the following:

  1. Have you returned from an overseas trip within the last 14 days?
  2. Have you had close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
  3. Have you been in close contact with anyone who has travelled within the last 14 days to one of the countries listed on health.gov.au?
  4. Have you experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days (to include fever, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty breathing)

You can have confidence when you book a stay at any of our properties that we are doing everything we can to have accommodations ready for you. We have the COVID Safe Tick of approval and our offices and properties are following the guidelines as provided by the Australian Government. We are reinforcing all recommendations on the appropriate health and safety measures.

Given the impact of COVID-19 on how we work, socialize and travel, we have been adapting our cancellation policy due to the evolving nature of this epidemic. In good faith, we have updated our policies to provide greater flexibility during these challenging times. These new policies are noted above. We have also in place and on-line check in process which includes a disclosure to be signed by guests acknowledging their COVID status as noted above.

We recognise that the COVID-19 virus requires all of us to be more mindful as we go through our regular activities. These are unsettling times and whether you are travelling now or in the future, we want you to know that your safety and well being are our first priority and we are working to ensure that we meet the latest guidance with regards to hygiene and cleaning.

Whenever you are travelling, we will be here to help you have a wonderful holiday.

Thank you
Central Coast Holidays Team
